About four times a year, the OSGeo Quebec Chapter (OSGeo-qc) is hosting a simple gathering of geospatial experts and users in a different city, like a road show. This month, the “Happy Hour” is held in Quebec City, Tuesday March 23, at 5PM at Le Cercle.

This time, the gathering will not include presentations mainly because the afternoon of this very same day is the WhereCamp, full of short presentations on various topics, Open Source or not.

Rendez-vous OSGeo Québec 2010 is the first conference by the OSGeo Quebec Chapter (OSGeo-qc).

This first edition will be held in Saguenay, the city formely known as Chicoutimi. Saguenay is home of Daniel Morissette from MapGears, the well known MapServer expert/sniper.

Daniel Morissette is one of the three founders of the OSGeo-qc chapter, along with Thierry Badard, co-founder and CTO of Spatialytics.
