The initiative aims to gather companies, organizations, project communities and individuals into an open community aiming to foster the cooperation in the GeoBI domain and to support research activities. Membership is open to anyone who shares the initiative vision.

When it comes to GeoBI and collaboration in an open environment like this GeoBI Initiative, Spatialytics hears the call. We are proud to be among the initial members of this unique initiative and see Spatialytics co-founder and pioneer in Open Source GeoBI, Dr. Thierry Badard, sit on the technical committee. Open Source GeoBI projects available at Spatialytics.ORG like the SOLAP Server GeoMondrian are key for this inevitable IT convergence.
