Technology partnership in BI and GeoBI between SpagoBI and Spatialytics
Spatialytics is proud to confirm a technology partnership with a global player in Open Source Business Intelligence (BI), SpagoBI (see their announcement here).
In the case of SpagoBI, its road-map and evolution is managed by Engineering Group, SpagoBI editor, an IT global player and the Italian largest operator in the IT services market with over 6,200 employees. Since October 2005, SpagoBI has counted several hundred thousands downloads and still counting. The top 4 countries are France, USA, China and Italy.
SpagoBI is used in about 100 projects supported by partners and SpagoBI directly. Some of the most important SpagoBI customers are: the Italian Ministry for Health, FIAT Group and various local public administration institutions (ex. Regione Veneto). SpagoBI Success Stories are available here.

The opportunities for collaboration and integration are numerous. For example, knowing that SpagoBI already supports Mondrian OLAP server in its technology architecture, via its SpagoBI Server, it is possible to consider the alternative GeoMondrian.
GeoMondrian is Spatialytics.ORG Open Source SOLAP server. GeoMondrian has the unique ability to integrate the geometry of geographic features with the rest of the alphanumeric data and statistics, allowing powerful analysis and query spatial data cubes and maps originating from a single source of data.
In general, Spatialytics aims to maximize its technology offering in Open Source GeoBI, available Spatialytics.ORG, with companies and communities in BI and Geospatial that are technologically compatible, including those exploiting Kettle and/or Mondrian, PostGIS and/or GeoExt … the list is impressive.
