Technology partnership in BI and GeoBI between SpagoBI and Spatialytics

Spatialytics is proud to confirm a technology partnership with a global player in Open Source Business Intelligence (BI), SpagoBI (see their announcement here). In the case of SpagoBI, its road-map and evolution is managed by Engineering Group, SpagoBI editor, an IT global player and the Italian largest operator in the IT services market with over 6,200 employees. Since October 2005, SpagoBI has counted several hundred thousands downloads and still counting. The top 4 countries are France, USA, China and Italy.

About four times a year, the OSGeo Quebec Chapter (OSGeo-qc) is hosting a simple gathering of geospatial experts and users in a different city, like a road show. This month, the “Happy Hour” is held in Quebec City, Tuesday March 23, at 5PM at Le Cercle. This time, the gathering will not include presentations mainly because the afternoon of this very same day is the WhereCamp, full of short presentations on various topics, Open Source or not. Spatialytics at Rendez-vous OSGEo Québec 2010, June 15-16 in Sagnenay

Rendez-vous OSGeo Québec 2010 is the first conference by the OSGeo Quebec Chapter (OSGeo-qc). This first edition will be held in Saguenay, the city formely known as Chicoutimi. Saguenay is home of Daniel Morissette from MapGears, the well known MapServer expert/sniper. Daniel Morissette is one of the three founders of the OSGeo-qc chapter, along with Thierry Badard, co-founder and CTO of Spatialytics.

Spatialytics at VisionGÉOMATIQUE 2010, June 16-17 in Sagnenay

Spatialytics will exhibit at the second edition of the CGQ conference : VisionGÉOMATIQUE 2010, June 16-17 in Sagnenay. Spatialytics will present Spatialytics.ORG Open Source GeoBI projects GeoKettle and GeoMondrian. Visitors of Spatialytics (booth #48) will learn more about how the ETL (GeoKettle) and the SOLAP server (GeoMondrian)  can be used and benefit their organization.
