Spatialytics has been the first partner in the growing network of OpenGeo Partners, back in June 2010! We will always remember those welcoming words by Paul Ramsey, on OpenGeo’s blog : Not as exciting as our first kiss, but still pretty exciting: our first OpenGeo re-seller is Spatialytics in Quebec. Anyway, we are pretty excited too by this partnership and their first Global Partner Network meeting in Denver, the day before FOSS4G begins.

Spatialytics joins the OGC (Open Geospatial Consortium @opengeospatial) as an associate member

The Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC) is an international industry consortium of companies, government agencies and universities participating in a consensus process to develop publicly available interface standards. The OGC now counts 424 members, where half are companies and about 40% is from North America.

Spatialytics becomes a GeoCat partner for the resale of GeoCat Bridge

Spatialytics develops GeoBI solutions for the BI and Geospatial industries. But for the market of the Province of Québec, via partnerships, Spatialytics also offers BI and Geospatial solutions. We are announcing a new partnership in Geospatial with GeoCat BV, a company based in the Netherlands, well-known for its work around GeoNetwork, an Open Source catalog application to manage spatially referenced resources & metadata. More recently, GeoCat launched a unique product, GeoCat Bridge, establishing literally a « bridge » between GIS professionals and some Open Source web solutions. This is actually a module or extension for the ArcGIS desktop softwares from the Esri, which allows the publication of data and their metadata.

Technology partnership in BI and GeoBI between SpagoBI and Spatialytics

Spatialytics is proud to confirm a technology partnership with a global player in Open Source Business Intelligence (BI), SpagoBI (see their announcement here). In the case of SpagoBI, its road-map and evolution is managed by Engineering Group, SpagoBI editor, an IT global player and the Italian largest operator in the IT services market with over 6,200 employees. Since October 2005, SpagoBI has counted several hundred thousands downloads and still counting. The top 4 countries are France, USA, China and Italy.
